Grace and Glory Chapel is a ministry born by divine mandate to transform lives into God’s glory through the ministration of the Word and the abundance of His Grace.

Grace & Glory Chapel is a testament of God’s amazing grace and faithfulness through the years. The humble beginning was God’s way of preparing us for the great commission, which by His grace, is 10years already. Over two decades ago, we were engaged in Missions as a fellowship, and by divine orchestration and “set-up,” God’s servant began to Pastor at Graceland Bible Faith Church of God, located at the Imperial Garden Hotel off Toyin Street in Lagos.

After about ten years of pastoring at Graceland, the Presiding Bishop, David Adeoye revealed that the Lord, God instructed him to release Graceland Bible Faith Church, Lagos branch to Apostle Mike Adebamowo to begin his ministry. The offer was initially declined by God’s servant until after a year and a few months when he got the confirmation during a Sunday Worship Service in July 2014 to begin a new ministry with the name “Grace and Glory”. This revelation and conviction came with the Word witness from the book of Psalms chapter 84, verse 11.

Upon the submission of God’s Servant to the will of God and an affirmation of the revelation by Apostle Bank Akinmola, the Bishop made a public pronouncement of the release of Graceland Bible Faith Church of God, Lagos branch, during a Sunday Service on 23rd November, 2014.

Afterwards, Grace and Glory Chapel was unveiled by Apostle Mike Adebamowo on Sunday 28th December 2014, and a dedication service of the ministry was presided by Apostle Bank Akinmola on Friday 23rd January 2015. This was followed by a thanksgiving/dedication Service on Sunday 25th January 2015 with Pastor Tunde Bakare releasing the father’s blessings.

The church began to grow under an evident multiplication dimension of grace. However, there were challenges of astronomical increase in facility rent that led to a few relocations. A significant relocation in the church history was to a rented property at Gbolade Adebanjo Close, beside Adebola House at Opebi, Lagos. This particular relocation led to the acquisition of the landed property now called Grace City, where the church “Grace and Glory Chapel” is seating today.

We started off with crusades on the bare land and as the Lord made provision available, we began the church building project which was tastefully completed and dedicated to the glory of the Lord by Pastor Tunde Bakare on Sunday, 27th January 2019.

Our Ordained Ministers

There is no church without committed workmen, just as there are no buildings without pillars. The ministers of the church are likened to spiritual pillars that holds the church together and enable her function effectively as intended by God. The church is privileged to be blessed with devoted and efficient Ministers of God that serves selflessly for the good of members and advancement of the church.

Our Outreach Missions

The ministry operates and supports several outreach missions to ensure that many who are yet to come to the knowledge of Jesus Christ gets to hear the gospel and be saved. Among such missions is the “Shiloh Team International”, which builds, equips and sends ministers for both local and international missions.

Our Membership Support Programmes

The ministry of our Lord, Jesus Christ was always about meeting the needs of the people and manifesting the grace and love of God. At Grace and Glory Chapel, we ensure to lookout for one another and provide support to members as occasion demands. The stability and comfort of our members are important to us and very critical to their discipleship. Through our Apostolic Mother’s “Living is Giving” initiative along with our vibrant welfare committee, we cater for the basic needs of our members.

Our Ministry Fellowships

The church is organised into smaller units to bring members together for the purpose of acquainting ourselves, supporting one another spiritually and morally, and growing together as a family. These units are known as fellowships and they include Church-in-the-House (CITH - A neighbourhood fellowship of GGC members), Choice Men Fellowship (CMF), Gracious Women Fellowship (GWF), and the Kingdom Ambassador (Youth Fellowship).

Our Children and Teens Department

The Children Department is a unique church for moral and spiritual development of our children from toddlers to teens. We are instructive and intentional about the leadership and mentoring of our children, thus selective of teachers and guardians to suit the ministry’s purpose.

Music is a sure route to God’s heart, as the scripture records that He inhabits the praises of His people. The GGC Royal International Voices is an important structural arm of the church that creates and inspires the atmosphere for worship. The team is made up of seasoned music ministers and instrumentalists that pride themselves as angelic voices and evangelists to the world.

Orderliness is a Kingdom principle and requirement for God’s visitation. The bible records that God is not an author of confusion, hence, He cannot dwell in a chaotic environment. Our ushering and protocol unit best serve this interest as they help to enable an orderly and serene atmosphere for worshipers during services for a quality worship experience.

Our Training and Development Unit

Discipleship is an essential part of our ministry. Proper follow-up and mentoring of our members and first-time worshipers is vital to their growth and spiritual development. Abiding with the Lord after new birth requires certain physical and spiritual obligations that rests upon workman, such as mentorship and developing saints into gospel ministers and workmen of God. Here, we train and develop our members into service men and women for the advancement of God’s kingdom here on earth.

We offer spiritual guidance and scriptural counsel to both worshipers and friends of the ministry to address the burdens and pressures that might be posing challenges to their personal lives. GGC is a trailblazer in hospitality and welfarism of the Christian community. We are open to receiving new worshipers, established Christians, guests and partners of the ministry in an atmosphere of entertaining welcome and expression of Christ love. Our members are prioritized for welfare packages and life changing opportunities in education, ministry, sponsorships and business development. Our heart of compassion cum zeal for spreading the gospel leads us to the underprivileged communities to give them support and hope for a better tomorrow. In addition, our Apostolic mother’s “Living is Giving” initiative helps to cater for the basic needs of the people.

Security Is Top Notch

To ensure adequate attention and avoid emotional distractions of members during our congregational meetings, we have succeeded in maintaining a high-powered security technology and mechanism to ensure the safety of lives and properties of members. Our state of the heart CCTV installations are strategically positioned and running round the clock to give live updates of events within and around the church premises. The church also engaged the services of private security agencies and maintains interaction with government security agencies for parameters’ survey of the area during and off service periods.

Over the years, we have had many special moments with amazing experiences as a church and family in God’s presence, and He has always honoured our gathering with marvelous encounters resulting in life-transforming testimonies. Our special moments are tied to events that mark significant milestones in the ministry and the lives of members. Among such moments are special ordination services, membership inductions, convocation and graduation ceremonies, jubilee birthdays, wedding ceremonies and anniversaries, including fellowship anniversaries.
